In the middle of Gobi desert stands Ordos a brand new city as a result of a bureaucraty’s’ utopia. An ideal city built in six years in Inner Mongolia evolving from a rural culture into a glistening (and strangely underpopulated) vision of the future

Shaped like a large undulating blob, the Ordos Museum has been designed by MAD a Bejing studio founded by famous chinese architect Ma Yansong. The building is entirely covered by polished metal tiles that are resistant to frequently occurring sandstorms.
